How does High Intensity Discharge (HID) with automatic high beam headlamps option work on 2009 Venza? Will it switch from high-beam to low-beam when detecting coming cars?

It does on the 2010 Venza's so I'd imagine it would with the 2009's. There's a sensor (camera) facing forward in front of the rear view mirror...when it senses ambient light it cuts the high beams down.

We have a 2009 with this option.. and it does work as you asked... will switch when it detects tail lights (takes to long in my opinion, but it does work)
