I just bought a 2010 Venza V6 FWD 4 days ago. This morning I walked to my car and heard it beep as though I were locking the car. Then I noticed the lights flash and the car honked once then beeped again. I thought it was my other keys pressing the buttons in my pocket so I pulled the Venza key out and stood there. About 1 min later, beep, beep, it kept locking itself. Then to my surprise, it unlocked itself and locked again. This continued to happen as I even tried opening the door when it unlocked, and it would keep trying to lock itself after that with the door open.

Has anyone seen this or know why this might be happening? I called the dealer and they said they've never heard of it, but I want to go in to give them an idea of what to look for. I don't have the smart key system, just the remote key. I do have the bluetooth system in the car as well as the programable garage door buttons. I'm wondering if other people in the garage pressing their garage door opener (community garage) triggers it, or maybe my blackberry in my pocket or other personal phone, although none of them are paired with the bluetooth system in the car yet.

I've owned mine not quite 1 year (Aug 10th 2009). Thus far no issues. Did I get a Venza built mid week?
