Default Serious Road Rash and Windshield Pitting

Apparently, Toyota did not bother with Wind Tunnel Tests with this car.

The Bull-Nose Style front-end is a Magnet for Rocks and whatever else is floating about the roadway!!!

I have lost the driver-side fog light to a rock (or something) twice!
There are over 100 rock chips, at least 20 of them quite large and one with an noticeable indentation on the hood and bumper.

There is an accumulation of hardened bug strikes inside the Toyota hood emblem...which are all but impossible to scrub off!

The front windshield is hard to see out of in the morning and late afternoon Sun due the amount of pitting!

I now have 42,000 miles on the car.

My 2003 Sienna which I use for the same commute, has 130,000 miles on it, has much-much less Road Rash...never lost a fog lamp, and the windshield is still quite clear.

Oh yea, there is paint peeling in the rear wheel wells!

What a piece of this Venza turned out to be!

Thanks for the input. I priced the film protector at three local shops.
Cheapest price was $650. And since I'm on the road so much and hand wash the car 2-3 times a week, a bra wasn't practical.

'sides... I have parked the car and spent a full day doing touch-ups on the front-end. Plan on selling it before putting anymore miles on it.

thanks again
