What exactly did they fix? How many miles before the problems you mention appeared?

395 miles-undercoated and replace right rear strut assembly.Tighten all components related to underneath the car including the rear drive cradle .Tighten front passenger seat rail.Realigned front end and straighten the steering wheel.

Hey john,

Although it's only been a day since your last update, how is the car doing? anything new or recurring?

Thanks for keeping us up to date.....

front end needs a sleight adjustment (wanders a wee bit on the freeway)The more its driving-the better the mph.Needs more sound insulation in the back around the rear wheel wells. Its a lot nicer to drive than my 2008 rav4 sport now,not as quick or as sharp turning as the rav4 but alot smoother. The venza is not for any kind of offroading like the rav4 is, but not bad on old dirt roads.A 2010 lexus rx350 has better offroad approach.but for way too much money. I believe it is going to be a good car for what we use it for.If I did more two track stuff,I would get a subaru or jeep.

more loud rattles!in the back-found plastic clips loose all over.spent 1/2 hour using rubber washers to isolate body parts thru out the car and reinstall clips-MY GOD! unbelieveable quiet now.If clips loosing up I will use plastic nuts bolts and rubber washers next time. Road noise gone-wind noise gone-not one rattle! Very rough start on quality but now equaling lexus at away better price!

Thanks, John. I do have an odd clunk on take-off at times. But I'll look out for the other problems as well. Marco

Wow what a bummer, our Venza now has 3800 miles and not a single problem with noises or rattles, we love ours, my wife drove an Avalon rental car last week and rated it as "almost as nice as my Venza" meaning she like, our Venza better (otherwise we would have bought an Avalon) well except for the fact we wanted AWD.
Anyway, I hope you can get your Venza squared away.

venza at 4000 miles-left front fender loose-dealer fix in 1/2 hour on the spot. fully loaded, the car is super quiet on the freeway and off road.handles very well. 2 track and old dirt roads with sand and mud no problem for the AWD. dirt hills became flat.the car has a lot of hidden features the book don't tell you about.Like down hill control in first gear on very STEEP sand, gravel, mud, and paved roads-frigging perfect! The Michelin tires are a perfect match for the car.
Knowing when to use the traction control and when to turn it off helps too.normal driving/rain/light snow-snow pact roads-dont touch it. In sand/light mud/gravel/heave snow touch the traction control once. heavy mud-turn off completely. The venza is an extremely capable car.

You can turn off the TC but it will turn Back on @ 30mph...
I was hoping I could control it at all speeds
