FYI .... Just purchased 09 V6 AWD Venza. We discovered in the JBL 6 CD/Sat/AM FM radio that the RDS ( Radio display System ) will not work on FM stations that transmit the RDS information. However it does work with Satelite and CD just not FM. On the other hand RDS does work with the NAV system on FM. I found this strange that the premium JBL radio would not have this simple feature. Some folks could care less, but my wife is a music lover, she likes to find new artist and download them to her Ipod.

That is really odd, have you taken it to the dealership and asked them about it?

Acually we bought the car and drove it home. In the sales literature it states AM/FM radio RDS with Satelite and 6 CD changer. This was the first thing my wife wanted see. I could not make it work for the FM stations. We took it back to the dealer, The dealer could not make it work also, so they called the factory and they were told it did not work on FM only on Sat and CD. I find that strange also. So we worked out a deal to exchange the car with a car that had NAV.

Ok now that makes me think, I guess I really don't know if we have listened to FM since we got it, oh well with a 6 disc changer (we don't need no stinking FM)....grin....
