| What is the magic in this pearl paint? I know it is an extra step in the process but what makes the sparkle? I know first hand you better not take someone out to show off that sparkle white color if the sun is behind a cloud. I suspect the sparkle comes from mica like the bronze and umber colors. From what I understand the mica is a crushed stone that reflects various colors at different angles. The pearl relects different colors, not just bright sparkles like metalic paint. For those that have not seen it, you gotta check out the Blizzard Pearl while parked in a well lit parking lot at night. It truly is a pearl. Randy |

| I was told that the Blizzard Pearl paint job is a 3 step process rather then the two step process that the others get, Paint then clear coat. The Blizzard Pearl is a creamy white base with a metallic layer and then a peralized clear coat and there is no doubt that once you've seen it you'll be in love. |

So, from what you said the paint is a metallic color and the pearl comes from the clear coat. It really is nice however they do it. Randy |

| That's how it was explained to me, a pearl clear coat which probably explains the extra $200 or so for this color. Worth it if you ask me. |
