I placed an order for my specific build requests and put a $500 deposit down June 9th. The salesman called me this past Friday the 26th and stated "Toyota has yet to commit to the build" and if I wanted the heated leather seats, I could possibly get the car earlier than the 4-8 weeks eta but I would have to pay for them??

Anyone else ordered one with thier build needs?

I was suprised by the lack of detail provided by internet salesmen and by some local dealerships in NC...after all, it's in writing?

I want/ordered a V-6, Blizzard Pearl, Prem package 1( no heated seats), Tow prep package, Drop hitch reciever, Panaramic roof, and the JBL surround sound ( w/Blue tooth)...simple enough?

Your salesman probably needs to make a sale and he found one on another dealers lot. I live in the St Louis area and the dealers around here have quite a few on the lot. We purchased ours just a few weeks ago and we probably had a choice of 12 -15 to chose from. Problem is that most of the cars on the lots are fully loaded.

The options you selected I do not recall seeing a car exactly like that. I did see one car with the drop hitch receiver/tow package. Good Luck!

I did read at Automotive news that Toyota was going to restart production of the Tundra and a couple of other models but they didn't name the Venza so you may in fact have to wait for the exact Venza. Times are bad in the Automotive world right now and sales are down.

I had these exact same options ordered and just found out the car is coming in without the TO pkg which will be a deal breaker...I have to use the car for towing. Is anyone aware if the TO can be dealer installed?

Well I disputed the credit card charge on Thursday the 16h...Original dealer had faxed me an order form w/no vin or eta...after review, i'm pretty sure he still was blowing smoke and it appeared the order might have been placed on July 7th and I put money down on June 10th??

Talked to another dealer about it and he said within 3 weeks, 4 @ the most you should be furnished w/this info...

Soooo I found one w/heated seats and nav and bought it for 300 under invoice so I'm on top of the world!... ordered the weather tech mat's and will post photo's of those...clear bra next week too...

Congrats! I know this has been trying and considering some of the deals out there Toyota is lucky you stuck it out.
