The stock replacement K&N is the one I put in. I was going to buy the cold air intake, but it was not available at out supplier yet.

I installed the K & N 33-2326 air filter a few weeks ago. It's my first use of a K & N air filter. I was impressed with the quality of the K & N filter compared to the OEM filter.

I have just install the simple K&N filter, picked it up for around 40 bucks on Ebay. The car fills a slight bit more responsive when you hammer down and gives the car a slight growl.

I've got a K&N cold air intake sitting in the trunk waiting to be installed.
I'm planning on taking some video shots to see if there's any real acoustical change. Will try post when all's done.
My intention for paying the whopping $350 is to obtain better breathing. Now looking for a reasonable aftermarket muffler.

I finally had a chance to install the K&N cold air intake (also for 3.5 Camrys). You'd think I'm driving a totally different car, when under harder acceleration.
If you're looking for a growl under your hood when you accelerate, get this cold air intake from K&N. I haven't been outside the vehicle when it's being driven, but it sounds like a V8 under the hood. As for city driving, if you're not one to mash it when starting off at each stoplight, then you don't notice a change in noise level. I was looking for better breathing to improve fuel econ. and am pretty sure that I got it. Whether I obtained more horsepower is an added avantage when it's needed.

I have the K+N short ram air intake on my V6 Venza. It has been on about 6 months now. Got it for about $225.00 on eBay. Yes, it adds a bit of kick. Yes. it does add a bit of "roar" under heavy throttle. If you expect Lexus quiet, don't do it. If you want the response, go for it!
