Default hydroplaning issues with 19" Bridgestones

Hello ! Has anyone else had hydroplaning issues with the stock 4cyl tires??? I feel these are the worse tires I have ever had in Wet (heavy down pours) weather. Unfortunately after days online there is NO tires produced in this size to replace them. I NEED to know if anyone else is having this problem so I can take it to the dealer.

Thanks
HC

No problems so far yet we have had only a few heavy rains since purchasing our Venza I4. I read the same bad reviews about the OEM Bridgestones.

What model of Bridgestone are these? I know that I put Bridgestone Revo's on my truck and hated them but the OEM Dueler II were awesome on ice snow and heavy rains and netted me 60,000 miles before having to be replaced and are what I went back to after scraping the Revo's after only 35,000 miles.

Hello ! They are the Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400 and they are great in DRY weather, for the weird size and the weight of the car they do well. They do NOT do well in standing water, normal rain it is a 8 out of 10, but standing water I give them a 2 or 3 max. There is only 1 other tire in the world mad in this size and it is made by "TOYO". Im not familiar with these though. I told the dealer about my troubles and they told me to buy the TOYO's. NOT at 308.00 bux a piece !!!!!! I said I will risk hydroplaning !

Have a Great Day

So what is best 19" tire to buy as a replacement. I have the stock Bridgestone and the tread wear is terrible. After 25K miles in 2 years, they need to be replaced. I saw for 20" tires, Venza owners are going with the Yokohama Parada Spec-x 255-50-20 tires which I can not find for 245-55-19

Hello! I have a better tread on my factory tires (the yucky 19's) but i have summer wheels with the Parada Spec X tires and they are VERY good. I do plan on putting the Yokohama's on the 19" factory wheels but you are correct, they dont make the factory size. I found out that they make that tire (only 1) in the 19" size im not sure right off hand the exact size but it is only 1 or 2 numbers ( the first set) off from the factory. I was told that small difference wasnt enough to cause any issues My tire wholesaler tols me it is literally only 3/4" smaller. To me that is no big deal since I am now able to get the tire i want. Please email me directly and I will look up that tire size for you (after you email me) and repy to you. I hope this helps and have a blessed day !!!!
